The Padus Foundation Class includes support for all CD-R/RW, DVD-RAM, DVD±R, and DVD±RW drives currently available on the market. Including the widely-used ATAPI and SCSI interfaces, the PFC can communicate with drives using IEEE-1394/Firewire and USB protocols. This -- along with minimal drive profiling -- gives our developing partners immediate access to the largest possible customer base. Lists of drives supported by the Padus Foundation Class SDK are available upon request.
